From November 2021, KBIJ, under PT Kredit Biro Indonesia Jaya, a private credit scoring and information bureau licensed by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), has announced a new ownership and senior management team, as well as a broad strategic vision to help accelerate financial inclusion in Indonesia.
New management team line-up:

- Director of Technology: Ivan Irawan
Ronny Kasim, Chairman of KBIJ, said:
“Rapid acceleration in digital financial services in Indonesia is taking place faster than ever and broadening financial inclusion among unbanked and underbanked consumers and businesses continues to be a key national agenda. With our new senior management team’s deep expertise, experience and networks in this area, KBIJ will grow its range and depth of credit reporting and information services with the end goal of providing trusted and reliable credit rating and information to our wide range of business partners.”
Founded in 2014, KBIJ, one of the first private credit bureaus in Indonesia, has recently received additional fresh capital from new investors.
With these new changes, KBIJ plans to immediately launch several value-added products such as comprehensive credit scores, customized credit reports, and risk alerts. KBIJ will leverage artificial intelligence technology and partner with credible alternative data sources.
KBIJ also plans to deliver its own consumer application which will allow Indonesians to check their own score and report.
