Dr. Ronald T. Andi Kasim, CFA (Ronny)

Chairman
Beside serving as the Chairman of KBIJ, Ronny also is the Chairman of PT Aksata Teknologi Finansial, an eKYC entity with "Platform Bersama" license issued by Ministry of Home Affairs. He also has been serving as the Member of Audit Committee at PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk. since 2020.
 
Previously, Ronny was the Country Director of PT Trusting Social Indonesia, an alternative credit scoring entity and Director of PT Trust Teknologi Finansial, a peer-to-peer fintech lending entity, both supervised by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Ronny played an instrumental role in forming the country's first private credit bureau, PT Pefindo Biro Kredit and eventually served as its first CEO.
 
Prior to that, he was the CEO for PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia, the country's leading credit rating agency. He has also spent more than 10 years working overseas at various global corporations including Moody's in Singapore, Fermat FZ in France and the UAE, Fiserv Inc. in the USA, First National Capital Market in the USA, and First National Bank of Omaha in the USA. He was appointed as one of the officers of the country's peer-to-peer fintech lending association (AFPI) and led the formation of its Fintech Data Centre.
 
Ronny holds a doctorate degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada in Leadership and Policy Innovation. His MBA and Bachelor in Banking & Finance degrees are both from Creighton University in the USA. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2006.

Ir. Ronald Waas

Commissioner
Earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung in 1980, and earned a Master of International degree from the Program in Economic Policy Management, School of International Affairs, Columbia University, New York, United States of America in 1995.
 
He started his career as a staff at Bank Indonesia (BI) in 1981 as a staff in logistics until 1999 as Head of the Logistics Planning Division. Then pursued a career in information technology since 1999 as a system analyst until the Director of the Information Technology Department in 2004-2007. In 2007-2009, served as Director of the Special Information Management Unit and in 2009-2011 as Director of the Directorate of Accounting and Payment Systems.
 
Appointed as Deputy Governor on December 29, 2011 with a term of office of 5 years (until December 29, 2016). Some of the main areas of responsibility as Deputy Governor are Payment System Policy and Supervision, Rupiah Money Management, Payment System Operations, Government Operations and Transactions, Banking Licensing and Information, Financial Inclusion, Information Technology, and Representative Offices in various regions .
 
As Deputy Governor, he was also appointed as Member of the Board of Commissioners ex-officio from BI at the Deposit Insurance Corporation, on August 28, 2013 for a term of office until September 24, 2015. Then was reappointed as Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (ex officio from BI) from September 24, 2015 until December 29, 2016. Since August 23, 2018 until present, he was appointed as a Faculty Member of the BI Institute.
 
After completing his tenure at Bank Indonesia, he has served as a commissioner in several companies, namely President Commissioner of PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia, since July 14, 2017 until present (also as Independent Commissioner), President Commissioner of PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta (since July 1, 2017 to date 21 January 2021), President Commissioner of PT Advance Intelligence Indonesia (since 1 September 2017 until present), Commissioner of PT Solusi Pasti Indonesia (since 12 September 2017 until present), Commissioner of PT Gojek Indonesia (since October 2017 until present), Commissioner (Independent) of PT Asuransi Bintang, Tbk (since 26 June 2018 until present), Commissioner of PT Mastersystems Infotama (since January 2020 until present), and President Commissioner of PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (since 10 March 2020 until present)
